9/25/05 Went to Golden Gate Canyon park near Golden, CO. Most of the aspens had turned to their nice yellow color. Hiked about 5 miles up and down the mountains and was rewarded with some beautiful views. Thought I was going to get shut out since in the lower elevations it was really foggy in the morning. When I arrived at the park it was sunny and nice. What a great day.

9/25/05 Another nice image from Golden Gate Canyon park. This old building was at the end of a 1.6 mile hike that was mostly uphill getting to it. Sure was nice to have a mostly downhill trek on the way back !

9/22/05 A successful search for fall colors. I used to visit KY, TN or NC in late October to catch fall colors. Here in Colorado the time schedule is a bit different. Next year I'll be more in tune with it and will visit higher elevations earlier than I did this year.
