9/22/05 A successful search for fall colors. I used to visit KY, TN or NC in late October to catch fall colors. Here in Colorado the time schedule is a bit different. Next year I'll be more in tune with it and will visit higher elevations earlier than I did this year.

9/18/05 While wandering through Castlewood Canyon hunting for fall color (didn't find much this day) I stumbled across this. Nice little combination of living and dead matter.

9/12/05 Every night I take the deposit to the bank I pass these carts in Albertsons. I liked the color and pattern so I stopped and shot a bit. Sometimes, you find cool subject matter in the most mundane places. Just keep looking.

9/04/05 Drove down to around Divide to hang out with sister and family at LVR, Lutheran Valley Retreat. Great campground. Had a blast. A large group of us went rock climbing and rapelling. Way cool ! BTW - that's not me.

8/17/05 Later that day, looking over the valley across to Pike's Peak back on the right. This is one of my favorite spots in Castlewood Canyon Park.

8/17/05 Although there were mosquitoes all over my arms I kept on shooting this hummingbird and his friends. Got a lot of nice images, but paid a little price for them. Next year - good insect repellant!

8/13/05 While visiting my sister and her family in Kansas I was bored and there was fruit on the table. Ate some: shot some. These were fresh off the tree in the backyard and were delicious. I even got a 'care package' for the trip home.

8/10/05 One day at work my guys pointed out the nice rainbow outside. It was a double and I got many pics of it, but I love this one. Saw the plane off to the right and ran down the sidewalk in order to get it flying through the rainbow.
