12/23/04 Yes, we had a white Christmas and I just love this little house on the hill. I pass by it almost every day on my way to work as I drive up Interstate 25. Gotta stop sometime and shoot from a different angle to catch the outhouse that's behind it.

11/08/04 One of the rock formations up top by Castle Rock. It's about 40 feet tall and although you're not allowed to climb them it looks like it would be fun !

11/08/04 On my walk up to the top of Castle Rock I wandered by these bushes. Rather odd looking yet nicely backlit to really bring out the wispy texture.

11/08/04 I'm making the move to Colorado official - renting an apartment today. Gonna climb up Castle Rock while they get the place ready. The drive out here was long, but I got to see some cool things like the St Louis arch. Also got to drive in one of the worst rainstorms I've ever been in. I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life . . .

Just created this blog - July 2, 2004. Don't know exactly what I'll use it for but it seems an interesting idea to be able to have a published 'journal' to share.
